Worship and Music:

Zion has two weekly opportunities for worship the second Sunday of September through the third Sunday in May:

1. Sunday morning at 8:30: Zion has a classical Lutheran worship service in accord with Lutheran tradition and the church year.  Zion’s choir usually practices for this worship at 7:45 on Sunday morning. The Choir’s Director is Keith Johnson. He can be reached at Zion at 320-693-3207. The choir sings a wide variety of music with a preference for American gospel.

2. Sunday morning at 10:45: Zion has a more contemporary Lutheran worship service while preserving church year lessons and the structure of the Lutheran worship service. It has different worship teams leading worship each week.
One week is led by the Gilman Street (Jazz) Band, another week is Christian Routes (country, blue grass) led by Pastor Christian,  the Kargas family and Terry Dvorak have a contemporary band, Deb and Mike Sundin head up another contemporary worship team with help from additional musicians, Faith Generation - a youth worship team - sings contemporary Christian music led by Shirley Tiffany and Trisha Caron,  Amplify - another contemporary youth worship team is directed by Missy Brock,  elementary Joyful Noiz Youth Choir occasionally leads worship under the direction of Hanna Bjorkman.   Any of those leaders can be contacted through Zion’s office at 320-693-3207.  Additional musicians are welcomed.

3.  Summer Sunday worship is held at 9:15 a.m.  This will is a blended service.
