Zion has a variety of Adult Education opportunities.
Adult Forums are held Sunday mornings at 9:45 am during the education hour throughout the school year, September through May. A variety of topics are presented or studied and discussed.
Prayer and Bible Study Goups:
Women:
1. Women of the ELCA meets in Bible Study Circles on the first Tuesday of the month, and then meets as a large group for a program mid-month, half the time in conjunction with the women from First Lutheran church.
2. Women of Faith meets for Bible Study and fellowship usually on the first Friday of the month.
3. Women of Faith Too meets for Bible Study on the first Sunday evening of the month.
4. Women of the Word meets biweekly during the academic year on Tuesdays for Bible study.
Men:
1. It’s A Guy Thing meets the first Saturday of the month for breakfast and Bible study.
2. Men’s Prayer Fellowship meets every Wednesday at 6:30 am to pray and study a chapter of the Bible together.
3. Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors (OWLS) is a Thursday morning Bible Study group that studies the Sunday readings together.
